Healix Health Services launches new corporate wellbeing solution - Healix ConneX

All company employees provided unlimited access to Phio with Healix ConneX

EQL and Healix Health Services partner to provide all company employees access to physiotherapy services with new corporate wellbeing app

We are pleased to announce we are partnering with Healix Health Services (Healix) to support the digitally-enabled physiotherapy services offered in their new corporate wellbeing solution.

Healix offers healthcare solutions to a range of well-known organisations based in the UK. Phio will be provided as part of Healix ConneX, which launched today.

Healix ConneX will allow organisations to provide all of their employees with multiple healthcare benefits — physiotherapy and mental health services, virtual GP services and wellbeing resources within one package.

The new product was created to fill a gap in the market place and as a solution to the challenges employers and employees are currently facing: the difficulty accessing a GP, especially from a face-to-face perspective; the unprecedented level of stress that the mental health sector is under; and the number of people working from home with unsuitable equipment and poor ergonomics.

There are currently 6m people on the NHS waiting lists and around 32m workdays are lost every year through work-related illnesses, with a third of those related to musculoskeletal issues. Healix ConneX will offer an alternative way to access services.

EQL’s experience working within the NHS, plus their excellent tech, allows us to offer a solution that’s very easy to navigate and easy to understand but gives scheme members access to immediate support with clinical oversight

Meeting employee wellbeing needs with a digital health solution

Ian Talbot, CEO of Healix Health Services, said: “Including Phio in our flexible package of benefits and services allows us to deliver what we feel is a really different solution to address the changing healthcare needs of employees and the challenges the NHS faces in delivery of care in a post-Covid world. EQL’s experience working within the NHS, plus their excellent tech, allows us to offer a solution that’s very easy to navigate and easy to understand, but gives scheme members access to immediate support with clinical oversight.”

Scheme members with any muscle or joint injury will be able to log on, interact with the system and be directed into the most appropriate healthcare pathway. The information is clinician reviewed and, where the patient is suitable for self-management, they will have instant access to a customisable rehabilitation programme with tracking and in-app clinical support.

Pete Grinbergs, EQL’s Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer, said: “By providing people with the tools, the necessary information and support we’re able to empower people to take control of their healthcare journey and fundamentally that’s where you get good results. Healix ConneX will give people immediate access to a digital assessment and where appropriate, a tailored exercise programme, which means we can provide intervention very close to the point of injury, allowing a speedier outcome and getting people back to doing the things they love quickly.

Other providers within the Healix ConneX proposition include Mind Right and Limbic.
