EQL partners with Medicash to launch Phio Engage into health insurance

EQL and Medicash lead the health insurance market with Phio Engage for digital MSK care

EQL is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Medicash to launch Phio Engage, a self-care app for people needing MSK, into the health insurance market for the first time.

EQL’s partnership with Medicash - the UK’s longest-established cash plan provider – makes the end-to-end Phio MSK care programme available to over 240,00 corporate policyholders.

The launch of Phio Engage into the health insurance market follows the success of Phio Access – a clinically-led digital triage support tool that signposts the most appropriate treatment for each MSK case.

The combination of Phio Access and Phio Engage will now provide Medicash’s corporate policyholders with faster, unparalleled access to the right MSK care.

Unlimited access

Corporate policyholders will have unlimited access to Phio Access and, if they are identified as suitable for self-management, they will go through to Phio Engage to follow an exercise programme tailored for them.

Phio Engage uniquely allows people to control the intensity of the programme according to their needs, and tracks their progress, providing qualified clinical oversight and intervention through the app as needed.
